Description/Characteristics:
LIME SCALE SOLVENT is a highly concentrated alkaline cleaner that may be used for the cleaning of all alkaline resistant surfaces. Removes non water soluble lime scale compounds that appear as a smeary layer in sanitary or wet areas. At the same time LIME SCALE SOLVENT solves grease residues, oil and other soiling. Should the lime scale deposits be extremely encrusted or mixed with lime, it may be advisable to apply our SOLUTION SWIMMING POOL / BATH CLEANER, provided the surface is acid resistant.

Application/Substrates:
LIME SCALE SOLVENT may be applied on all alkaline resistant stone and tile surfaces, such as marble, terrazzo, tiles, fine stoneware (in connection with SOLUTION polymicrofibrepads) and all other stoneware surfaces. Do not apply on aluminium, pewter and zinc. Surfaces not to be treated must be protected sufficiently. Test surfaces in an inconspicuous area before application.

Technical Data:
Smell: neutral appearance: clear dilutable: yes (water) pH-value: approx. 13 (concentrate) Storage: frost-free in closed original containers. Keep away from strong oxidation and reduction agents.

Dilution Ratio:
For basic cleaning, dilute LIME SCALE SOLVENT 1:1 to 1:5 with cold water. In case of higher encrustations, apply more concentrated, up to a dilution of 1:1. Alternatively if the surface to be treated is acid resistant, SOLUTION SWIMMING POOL / BATH CLEANER may be applied.

Basic Cleaning:
Shake LIME SCALE SOLVENT well and dilute according to the rate of soiling. The cleaning solution should be used directly from the tank of the monobloc machine by means of pad or SOLUTION polymicrofibrepad. Allow the cleaning solution to react for 5 minutes. Scrub/wipe the cleaning solution again with copious amount of water. Extract the remaining liquid with wet vacuum cleaner. Rinse again with lots of water (at least twice) until the result is satisfactory. Small areas may be treated with a hand pad. For extreme soiling repeat treatment, increase degree of concentration or work with further products of our SOLUTION-STONE-PROTECTION-CLEANING-CARE product range.

Maintenance Cleaning:
Subsequent maintenance cleaning should be carried out with the alkaline lime solvent SOLUTION KRISTALLO ® and SOLUTION polymicrofibremop or cleaning machine. In exceptional cases, LIME SCALE SOLVENT may also be used for maintenance cleaning, dilution ratio up to 1:50.

Fine Stoneware:
Dilute LIME SCALE SOLVENT accordingly and work with SOLUTION polymicrofibrepads. First remove extreme soiling with nylon pads. Use economically. The deep cleaning process is supported by the SOLUTION polymicrofibrepads (by means of their extremely fine structure).

Disposal/Precautions:
LIME SCALE SOLVENT is a corrosive cleaner, subject to special marking. Upon request, we may provide you with technical operation instructions according to § 20 Hazardous Substances Ordinance. Do not put concentrate into the sewerage system but dilute well with lots of water, or for example acetic acid, up to pH-value 6-9,5 or neutralize. Wear alkaline resistant gloves and safety goggles. Immediately remove all contaminated clothing. Avoid contact with skin. The relative Health and Safety Information, security hints, risk and safety phrases are indicated on the container labels and in the EC data sheet. Keep out of the reach of children.
