ZTX313 NPN Silicon Transistor

The ZTX313 is a plastic encapsulated silicon planar high speed switching transistor specifically designed for high speed switching applications and are also useful where very short storage times and low capacitance is required.

The E-line package is formed by injection moulding a SILICON 'E' plastic specially selected to provide a rugged one-piece encapsulation resistant to severe environments and allow the high junction temperature operation normally associated with metal can devices.

E-Line encapsulated devices are approved for use in military. industrial and professional equipment.

These devices were also used exclusively by Sinclair in the DC-DC converter stages of the Sinclair Spectrum, ZX80 & ZX81 8bit computer in the 1980's. Considered essential to restoring the appliance to its original condition.
