A boost controller interrupts the line going into the engine, giving you the ability to control the pressure in the cylinders.
All you have to do is twist the valve to increase or decrease the available pressure. Craven Speed’s revolutionary 3 piece design allows you make that adjustment by hand. On many similar products twisting the adjustment collar will cause you to twist the air line. This is awkward and often leads to you having to remove the controller to make adjustments. Our design allows the collar to spin around the tubing attachment avoiding this common problem all together.
Precision machined out of aircraft aluminum and anodized to our favorite colors, this body is loaded with a fast acting ceramic ball bearing, and a progressive wound steel spring. You will never have any trouble commanding the pressure on your engine.
Increase the life of your engine by turning down the boost for day driving. Then turn it right back for night driving.
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most... most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up... you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know...
Nigel Tufnel: ...nowhere! Exactly! What we do is if we need that extra... push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: ...Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
